Assistant Management Accountant

Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 1000 firms as business partners and approaching 3000 advisors working alongside us.

Based partly working from home and partly within our Solihull offices (Birmingham Business Park) we are looking to recruit a part qualified Assistant Management Accountant on a fixed 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.

The role is to assist the Finance Business Partner working alongside different business/departmental heads, providing information and analysis to senior managements helping them to make informed decisions driving business strategy.

Main Accountabilities –

• Operational Performance monitoring
• Holding the business accountable
• Detailed story
• Support Primis Finance Business partner
• Month end review
• Produce management reporting
• Support of Management accounts productions
• Support cost centre management
• Assist with creation of Operational plans
• Management of loan administration
• Support review of development capex
• Support gathering and reviewing KPIs
• Interrogate & interpret Data - self service

Skills/Competencies required –

• Strong teamwork skills, building relationships both with the immediate Finance team and the wider business
• Excellent skills with Microsoft Office
• Prior experience of double entry posting within finance systems
• PQ/Mid-level Accountancy qualification
• AAT Qualified/Studier
• QBE 3+ Yrs
• Studying towards professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)

Salary: circa £24,000 - £28,000 DOE Negotiable

Location: Birmingham Business Park, B37 with circa 1 - 2 days per week in Solihull and the remainder working from home although this could be subject to change.
