Managing Director

PRIMIS Mortgage Network, on behalf of a large partner group of Mortgage and Protection advisory firms, are seeking a seasoned Financial Services professional to join their business in a new Managing Director role at what is, an exciting time within the business as it continues its incredible growth and development trajectory.

The wider business is formed by a group of 17 (and growing the portfolio through acquisition) outstanding Mortgage and Protection Advisory businesses who now total some 500 advisors and 800+ staff with a turnover approaching £80m.

We are looking specifically for an experienced Mortgage and Protection leader to join the group as the Managing Director for a group firm. The individual will have extensive senior level exposure within the Mortgage and Protection industry.

Responsibilities of the role include -

Strategy execution

• Support the Group CEO implement the growth strategy for the business
• Set and meet challenging budgeted P&L growth targets

Sales Management

• Motivate, manage, and inspire the in-house teams to achieve their objectives
• To oversee and develop the relationships with housing developers / sources of business

Operational oversight

• Oversee the back-office operations (pre and post application)
• Assume CF1 regulatory responsibility

Knowledge and Experience required –

• A minimum of 5 years relevant experience within the Mortgage and Protection sector
• A strong understanding of large Mortgage Advisory businesses
• A wide-ranging management skillset
• Proven track record of result delivery
• Coaching skills, mentoring and people management
• Internal and external relationship management

The basic salary for the role is strong and will include a bonus element.

The role is home based with extensive travel across the UK
