Head of Commercial Finance

Part of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 1000 firms as business partners and circa 3000 advisors working alongside us and jointly amounting to some 11% of the mortgage market share in the UK. The FS division also includes TMA and Direct Life.

We are keen to recruit a Head of Commercial Finance (reporting to our Chief Finance Officer) in what is a key role in our growing business.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Finance professional to contribute to the success of our Financial Services Division by ensuring optimum outcomes for the business.

The role is hybrid and will be based partly out of our HQ site on the Birmingham Business Park in Solihull

Role Purpose:

To oversee the provision of commercial analysis to senior management & the executive board. To support the business in understanding & controlling performance including sales pipeline performance, departmental spend, gross profit & margin, labour spend, development & investment capex.

Responsibilities to include:

• Business partner FS Exec & management team
• Ensure ownership & accountability of key stakeholders
• Production & delivery of budgets/forecasts
• Creation of operational plan alongside key stakeholders
• Sales business partner
• Trading updates
• Management accounts
• Cost centre reporting
• Investment & development spend
• Analysis of commercial data
• Support on investment opportunities
• Oversea FP&A Manager & associated activities

Skills & Qualifications:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Professional accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Experience of working in financial services industry preferable
• Business partnering at all levels including senior management
• Proactive and positive change agent
• Communicate complicated information to a wide range of audiences
• Composure under pressure and experience of managing in challenging and pressured

• circumstances
• A team player who can work with stakeholder in other functions to achieve objectives.

Salary and Benefits - Strong base salary DOE and negotiable

Hybrid partly based on the Birmingham Business Park in Solihull
